Designers, Models, Celebrities, Paparazzi and you will be part of Australia's most fashionable party of the year.

Melbourne's Docklands will be transformed into a magical, open air fashion infused block party to open the Festival week.

Redeem your complimentary drink on arrival and soak up the party atmosphere before being escorted into the magnificent runway venue to witness a spectacular fashion show presented by David Jones. This gala opening show features collections from over 30 of Australia’s most talented designers including Collette Dinnigan, Alex Perry, camilla and marc, Thurley, Alannah Hill, Dion Lee, Josh Goot and many more, and showcases the latest beauty looks by L’Oréal Paris.  Melbourne’s own Australia’s Next Top Model winner Montana Cox will walk exclusively for David Jones alongside its Ambassador for Young Women’s Fashion, Samantha Harris.

Outside the party will continue with live music on stage, fashion film screenings, outdoor bars and food to fuel you through the night's celebrations.

Live on stage is an all Australian line up including Canyons [Live] who have had gained recent acclaim for their hit single “My Rescue”, electropop duo Van She Tech who have toured with Yeah Yeah Yeahs and New Young Pony Club, prominent Melbourne based house music DJ, Grant Smilie, one of Australia’s most prolific young DJs and ‘Friend of the Festival’ Andy Murphy and former front man of ARIA award-winning outfit 1200 Techniques, Nfa, will perform with DJ Peril.
