Mike Shearwood, Aurora Fashions (UK)

"Our Anywhere Everywhere approach to stock management has resulted in increased profits for Aurora in challenging times. We’re saying to customers ‘if we have it anywhere in the UK we’ll get it to you wherever you want it,’ which is a powerful message in today’s climate."

Geoff Watts & Julia Fowler – EDITD (UK)

"Trend forecasters only provide a fraction of the information now available to fashion businesses. By mining freely available online data from retailers, catwalks and tradeshows and monitoring influencers and consumer opinions, live, customized data can be produced. This enables the industry to make the right trading, merchandising and design decisions off the back of data instead of just informed guesses."

Alan Treadgold, Leo Burnett Group (USA & UK)

"Leo Burnett felt that one of the most important questions facing retail globally is what the future of the physical store will look like in a multi-channel world.  We've asked shoppers across the globe to share their opinions.  While it's true to say that it would be premature to write the obituary for bricks and mortar, there's no question that stores must evolve into engaging and inspiring spaces if they are going to continue to thrive."

Timothy J Coghlan, Savills Property Services (CHINA)

"China is fast becoming the biggest fashion story of the century and savior to an industry ailing in many other parts of the world. In the coming years, brands that understand and can operate in China will have significant advantages over their competitors.  As a close neighbour, Australian brands are in a prime position to take advantage of China’s growing fashion market."
