Jolet

Jolet

Driven by artistic perfectionism, Jolet has emerged as a promising Australian designer label with a distinctive and stripped-back aesthetic that is unassumingly directional, yet accessible. Dedicated to creating beautiful garments with refined silhouettes and detailing, designer Jolet Ucchino incorporates elemental sensibilities and emotive inspirations to evoke a certain mood to her collections.

The designer’s background in graphic design has helped to define her eponymous label, which embraces a considered approach and appreciation for simplicity and restraint ensuring that each collection is cleverly designed and well crafted.

Balancing masculine structural elements with softer, more feminine details by featuring tailored pieces juxtaposed by draped and delicate styles, the label is Australian made using the finest quality fabrics sourced locally and overseas, including silks, cottons, linens and wools,  Adding another facet, Jolet’s digital prints are impressed upon various fabrics and styles and have become a signature of the label, working to define the mood and ambiance of each collection.

After honing her skills at celebrated labels Akira Isogawa, Claude Maus and Rich, the designer founded Jolet in 2008, and has since attracted a number of accolades including selection as a finalist in the 2010 Debut Awards at the Fashion Exposed trade fair and the 2010 Chambord Shine Awards in Sydney.

Having already garnered a loyal following, Jolet’s understated and romantic designs are set to become some of Australia’s most coveted.
