Describe the first thing you ever designed
When I was a kid I used to make crazy big earrings out of fimo. They were outrageously bright and fun, incorporating materials like glass stones, easter egg foil and chains. I was quite the budding young enterpreneur - I remember setting up a card table stallat the local voting day to hawk my wares as people went in to vote - people were very encouraging but I'm not sure that I was exactly pitching to my target market.

Highly accessorised, definitely not faint hearted, not afraid of bright colours or bold patterns
Tell us something we might not know about you
I am absolutely mad about butter and was thinking of starting my own blog called - "baulch's butter blog".
What's your favourite piece from your current collection and why?
I love the Specktra neckpieces from my current AW 10 collection - GEOSPEKTRA. Very modern deco - I love the deco period for its geometric forms and classic refinement.
Who is your favourite Australian model?
Mallory Janssen - she is an up and coming with chadwicks - she is bewitching.
Whose personal style do you admire and why?
My friends are definitely the most stylish people I know and constantly inspire me. My friend Moira Rogers is like a young modern day Iris Apfel.
What is your favourite city in the world?
I don't really have one. Every city has its own special charm. I love traveling and its great just to walk around a new city to soak up the people and the atmosphere.
What is your favourite boutique in your hometown?
Glitzern boutique in Crossley St at the paris end of Bourke St in Melbourne - it is the most stylish pocket sized boutique full to the brim with fabulous new and vintage accessory treats from all over Australia and the world.
