Describe the first thing you ever designed?
A.
A mixed cotton floral patchwork pillow of holly hobby on a chambray pillow base. I still have it! The first actual dress I remember designing was when I was six. It was a peasant style tiered cotton frock printed with navy blue with white spots & strawberry shortcakes.

Describe your personal style in a sentence?
A.
Soft, Romantic, Feminine & Elegant mixing vintage with new and a hint of Orientalism.

A.
I have two little vampire bites on my right arm.

What's your favourite piece from your current collection and why?
A.
An all over beaded dress in a Nouveau design in hues of granite.

Who is your favourite Australian model??
A.
Catherine McNeil she has amazing bone structure a face that will age gracefully.

Whose personal style do you admire and why??
A.
One of Richard Nylon's crew. Her name is Bridie O'Leary to me she is a walking piece of art. Every day she dresses differently referencing so many different cultures, subcultures, times, demographics. She has an amazing ability to mix together wild colours, textures, prints, details. She never wears the same outfit & despite her look being theatrical she still does it with a considered & educated fashion eye.

What is your favourite city in the world??
A.
Not really into big cities in my view they can all end up being the same to me & the big ones tire me out. I prefer little villages in particular the ones throughout the European Alps.

What is your favourite boutique in your hometown?
A.
?Well naturally I have a soft spot for my boutique/salon in Fitzroy but I've just discovered "Hello Sailor Vintage Markets" That happen at Carlton Club & Grace Darling on Sundays. This would be my new favourite place to pick up an inspiring piece.
