Q.

Describe the first thing you ever designed

A.

When I was at art school under the guise of making sculpture, I crocheted some pretty risqué pieces out of wire and then proceeded to sport them around town.

Q.

Describe your personal style in a sentence

A.

Casual, sexy and alluring... Well that's the plan anyway!

Q.

Tell us something we might not know about you

A.

My first capsule collection was actually men's wear but everyone wanted my styles in girls cuts, and the rest is history.

Q.

What's your favourite piece from your current collection and why?

A.

The Coral Silk & Mesh Shirt Dress from my SS0910. It's both demure and flirtatious and looks equally at home worn open over bathers pool side, or dressed up with heels for the evening.

Q.

Who is your favourite Aussie model?

A.

Where to start... Australia is such a goldmine of unbelievably attractive women. But I do love Nicole Trunfio, Mia Woolrich, Lani Sommer and Emily Trimble Thompson to name but a few.

Q.

Who's personal style do you admire and why?

A.

Isabella Blow had an incredible eye for fashion, and that really shone through in the inimitable way she presented herself.

Q.

What is your favourite city in the world?

A.

I loved the few months I spent in Tokyo. For a city of 13,000,000 everything seems to run so seamlessly and it's so interesting the way the ancient Japanese traditions are still so present in contemporary society whilst it's simultaneously so embracing of the new.
